Training Risk Assessment
The processes developed for handling information and supporting processes in systems and networks are important assets for many organisations. These assets are often exposed to a number of threats. The result is that many organisations run certain risks. Think for example of loss of revenue, deteriorated competitiveness or reputation damage. Making and keeping these risks transparent is essential to guarantee the availability, integrity and confidentiality of information. Risk assessment is an important tool for doing this.
A risk assessment is one of the most important parts of the information security policy of many organisations. Risks must be identified and, if necessary, measures must be taken to tackle them. Extensive knowledge and skills are essential for a successful execution of a risk assessment.
The main focus of the training is on the skill set needed, a practical approach with a number of stakeholders to define acceptable risk assessments and appropriate measures. The basis for the training is ISO 27005.
Benefits of the Risk Assessment training:
- You will be able to identify information security risks in a practical way.
- You have the skills to be able to select applicable measures in the relevant circumstances.
- You can use ISO 27005 as the basis for risk assessment.
